Since becoming a smartphone user years ago, I am pleased that I can use my phone not just for regular tasks such as phone calls, texting, taking photos, and accessing the internet, but also to earn and save money. It can be confusing and time-consuming to try out the many apps out there offering these claims. Some don’t last long, while others can suck you in with games that waste your time and offer little reward. This series will cover the apps that I have found that actually earn us money! Last year I earned almost $400 in rewards from various smartphone apps!
One of my favorite apps is Brandclub. This app is a great way to earn money from purchases you are already making without much work. There are several ways to benefit from the app.
1) Choose clubs to join – When you join brand “clubs,” you select brands that you regularly purchase from. Some will give you a starter reward (cash) for joining and others do not. This reward gets unlocked when you make your first purchase of an item of that brand.
2) Sync accounts – When you sync your Target, Amazon group, and Walmart accounts with the app, you earn cash back from your purchases. Some rewards are instant and others have to be unlocked with your next purchase of that same brand. You are basically being rewarded for consistently shopping from brands.
3) Shop from Daily Deals and Instant Rewards – By buying certain products through the app, you get instant rewards that are higher than the regular cash back offers. After the purchase, your account gets credited that reward amount.
4) Answer Surveys – You can earn between $.40 and $.45 for answering short surveys about brands you have purchased from. There is a limit to taking 3 surveys in one 24-hour period, but it can add up quickly! Great thing to do while waiting in line or at a doctor’s office!
5) Share affiliate links – The app creates personal affiliate links for you to use to promote various products you like. You can then share them on your social media platforms and get rewards when someone buys that product through your link! I have not used this option yet, but might look into it more!
6) Content rewards – You can also earn money from watching videos of various products. This section does not seem to work yet, but perhaps it will be updated later.
I can make usually around $10 a month or more if I sync my purchases each week and answer several surveys. It varies, but for a few minutes on your phone each week, why not earn the extra cash!
